10/10/2009		A free Barbeque Pork Dinner and Christian Music Entertainment Event hosted by the Overbrook Churches.  Event begins at 5PM on the front lawn of the Brookside Community.
10/12/2009		Overbrook City Hall will be Closed for Columbus Day.
10/12/2009		American Legion Meeting 7:30PM at the Legion Building.
10/14/2009		Public Hearing regarding proposed project to repair and upgrade approximately 70% of our City Streets.  Hearing will be held at 6PM in the Overbrook Attendance Center Gymnasium.  The Regular City Council Meeting will be held following the Public Hearing.
10/16/2009		5th Quarter at the Pit Stop- for area youth following the game- at Grace Community Church Basement.

10/17/2009		Volunteers needed to come help do some yard and lawn work for the residents at Oak Plaza (red brick apartments directly behind the grocery store) 9:30AM to 12:30PM.

10/20/2009		Planning and Zoning Committee meeting at City Hall 7PM
10/27/2009		Special Meeting Overbrook City Council 6:30PM City Hall  review two bids for repairs on well #3 and make decisions on which bid to accept.
10/31/2009		Annual Fall Festival "Halloween Alternative" - fun and games and candy for kids at Grace Community Church 5PM.
