ALL DOGS AND CATS OVER 6 MONTHS OLD ARE REQUIRED BY LAW TO HAVE A CITY LICENSE AND PROOF OF RABIES VACCINATION. THE CITY LICENSES ARE DUE ON JANUARY 1st OF EACH YEAR. The Animal Control Officer has been instructed to keep records of all animals picked up. All dogs and cats WITHOUT a current city tag picked up by the Animal Control Officer will be taken to Carbondale Pet Clinic (785-836-7212) and citations will be issued for "no city tag" and "animal at large."

If you are unable to come to City Hall during regular office hours, send proof of rabies vaccination and the fee to City Hall, Box 288, Overbrook, KS 66524; or leave it in the City Hall drop box.  License and tags will then be mailed to you.
