Water:

Drinking water is tested daily by your City Superintendent, and tested twice a month by the State.

Note from Mayor Don Schultz regarding the January 13, 2010 City Water Service Disruption

Sewer:

Please do not flush shop or other heavy duty towels!  They are causing clogging at the wastewater lagoon system and disrupting wastewater treatment.  Your cooperation is appreciated.

Joshua Excavating, LLC of Grandview, MO, has essentially completed Phase 1 of the Sewer Rehabilitation Project.  If you have any issues regarding the project, please contact City Hall.

Trees, branches, etc.:

All trees on your property are YOUR responsibility.

The city has a grass/weed cut ordinance.  Any grass or weeds over 18" must be mowed.  If a property owner allows grass/weeds to exceed 18" he/she will receive a certified letter explaining a timeline for cutting.

As of May 19, 2008 Branches can no longer be dropped off by the Maintenance Shed.  This will allow for work to be done on the soccer field.  You can drop off Branches at the SE corner of the Sewer Pond the third Saturday of each month from 8AM to 10AM. Thank you for your cooperation!
