Please join us at Noon on November 19, 2007 to hear a brief Economic Development update and meet Eric Pederson from Network Kansas.

NetWork Kansas provides expertise, education and economic resources to Kansas entrepreneurs and small business owners in rural and distressed communities. Typically, this comes in the form of unsecured loans or grants that match the terms of other financing obtained by a NetWork Kansas Resource Partner working on behalf of the entrepreneur.

I’m enclosing the Kansas Department of Commerce outline for the beginning of Osage County’s Economic Development strategic plan. I would like to see the Committee’s reform and meet periodically after the first of the year. The committees are categorized as Ordinance and Code Enforcement, Business Development, and Tourism. Be prepared to sign up for one or more at this meeting. Your participation is critical to ensure an effective strategic plan.
