A proposal for Recreation Vehicle Parking at

Overbrook Fishing Lake

Don Hylton and I met at the Overbrook Fishing Lake parking area and discussed the possibility of a Recreation Vehicle Park

Don Hylton and Leonard Jirak feel comfortable that we could build four gravel stalls, with water & electricity outlets, and the stalls would be 30 feet wide, and 60 ft long, which would include an exit, drive at the end of the stall.  The existing electricity would come from the electrical that exist and the water from the animal wash area at the County Fair grounds.

At a future time we may consider cutting into and using the existing toilet facilities for a dump station. The water line would be extended, for cleaning purpose, to the toilet facilities at the lake parking lot.

To enter, the entry road, from the highway, would Y and continues in the R.V. area, where the four stalls and one exit would be cut into the wooded area.  We would attempt to save as many trees for shade and aesthetic value and also as a cover for the trailway.  The frontage would be a minimum of one hundred and fifty feet wide.

There would be a limitation to the time of occupation of each stall, and payment would be made through a payment box.  This not a unusual for a small park.  The city would be responsible for the pick up of rental money, utilities and maintenance. We feel that $15.00 per day would be a conservative charge, 50% occupancy, amounting to $10,800 per year.

For evaluation purpose, we suggest that you cut into the wooded area, a U drive at the 150 width that would be 15 foot wide and 60-foot depth.

Sincerely
