On April 2, 2007, the regular monthly meeting of the
North Osage 4-H Club was called to order at 7:07 by our president Hailey Clemons
at the Kansas State Bank basement. The Pledge of Allegiance was lead by
Katherine Moore and the 4-H pledge was lead by Cameron Koger. Sixteen members answered roll call with “What
is your favorite Easter candy?” It was
the Parent’s Meeting so Michele Moore acting as secretary read the minutes of
the last meeting which were approved as read.
Before and after the meeting the Tag-a-longs made
130 Easter place mats.
For communications the secretary read a thank you
from Darrell Howard with a check for his appreciation of the cookies the 4-H
members have brought to him during the holidays. A thank you was also read from the Overbrook
Pride for helping wash dishes for the breakfast.
Hope Koger, the acting reporter said that the
minutes of the last meeting were submitted in the paper but not yet published.
The treasurer was not there so our Jr. treasurer
Patrick Moore gave the treasurer’s report. The balance in the checking account
is $1235.22.
The acting historian, Curtis Stahel,
reported needing photos from the nursing home activities and regional club
days. He displayed the scrapbook.

Reports:
Committee Reports included a report from the t-shirt
committee and several people presented their t-shirt prices and t-shirt ideas. It was voted to finalize the t-shirts at the
next meeting. Everyone needs to bring
all of their quotes and ideas.
Unfinished Business: We need to decide our level of
involvement with the Hylton House project presented
by Ken Krause. After discussion, it was
decided that the 4-H Club will commit to helping with landscaping such as
planting trees or flowers.
New Business: Ariel moved to pick up trash around
the lake after our next meeting as our May service project. Patrick Moore seconded it. It was voted on and passed. We also discussed on supporting members who
choose to go to camp or Discovery Days.
Ariel Malloy moved to pay $30 for each 4-H-er to attend Discovery Days
or Camp.
Submitted for approval by Michele Moore
