December Minutes
On December 4, 2006, the regular
monthly meeting of the North Osage 4-H Club was called to order by our

Before the meeting, we had a potluck and the tag-a-longs made 130 place mats for the nursing home.
For communications the secretary read two thank you notes, one from the Kansas Citizens for Extension Education, and one from the Morrison’s.
Colin Koger, the reporter said that the minutes of the last meeting were submitted in the paper.
Michael Brown gave the treasurer’s report Patrick Moore moved to pay the bills and Avery Meade seconded the motion and it passed.
Hailey Clemons gave the council report.
Leader Reports: Michele Moore reported that the nursing home was very grateful for the Thanksgiving placemats. Mrs. Malloy talked about yearly project enrollment cards.
For old business Michele Moore reviewed the memory and activity boxes that we are making for Brookside Manor. And let everyone know that they could pick up the box and bring them completed to next month’s meeting.
New Business: Ariel Malloy moved to bring cookies to the elderly people in the Overbrook community on Sun. Dec. 17th. Bailey seconded it. Mallory amended the motion to Sat. the 16th. It was voted that we would meet at the bank or other available place on Sat. or Sun at 2 p.m. It was passed. Peggy Tucker gave a demonstration on “How to Make a Fleece Pillow”. Avery Meade played two Christmas songs on the piano. We sang Happy Birthday to Cameron Koger and played a game. Everyone dropped off Christmas presents for the foster children Christmas adoption. Ariel moved to adjourn the meeting and everyone seconded it. We played a game after the meeting.
