At the City of Overbrook, we’re proud to provide safe, high-quality water services to our residents—along with a strong commitment to customer care and environmental stewardship. If you ever have questions or need assistance with your water service, our team at City Hall is here to help.

Services We Provide

Residents within city limits receive:

  • Water & Sewer Services
  • Trash & Curbside Recycling (provided by Osage Waste, but billed and set up through the City)

To start service, simply contact City Hall for a quick one-page form. There’s a non-refundable $25.00 service connection fee, which can be paid when you submit your paperwork or added to your first bill.

Billing & Payment Details
  • Bills are mailed by the last day of each month
  • Payment is due by the 20th of the following month
  • A 10% late fee applies to unpaid bills after the 20th
  • If payment isn’t received by the 2nd Wednesday of the next month, water service will be disconnected
Deposit Policy

If you receive three shutoff notices within a calendar year, a refundable $120.00 deposit will be added to your account. This deposit is billed in three monthly installments of $40.00.

How could I have used this much water?

You may not have - the numbers on your meter may have been transposed or hard to read. You could possibly have a leaky toilet or faucet that's difficult to detect. Just call the office and we'll work with you to solve the problem.

My bill is past due can I get an extension?

Please contact our office and a one-time extension will be extended to you for extenuating circumstances.

What do I do if I am experiencing low pressure?

Check your meter and the surrounding area for possible leaks. Next, call our office and report low pressure for your area.

Why do I have a previous balance when I know I sent in my payment?

We may have received it after the due date or we may not have received it at all. Call our office and we will help you solve the problem.

Why is my water discolored?

A repair could have been completed recently allowing air to enter the line, causing the milky look.
